ABOUT COACH SARA
Coach Sara Johnson is an RRCA-certified coach who has been running for more than 10 years. She has completed 9 marathons, qualified for Boston, and in 2011 finished her first ultramarathon, the Comrades Marathon in South Africa. She has placed in numerous local races, including finishing 2nd overall woman in the 7K at the Dallas 7K/4K on July 4, 2014 and finishing 4th overall woman in the 25K at 2014 El Scorcho in Fort Worth. Sara is a mother of two and has a master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. She uses her training and experience to figure out what makes her runners “tick” and finds the best way to encourage and motivate them. She knows that staying healthy and active makes her runners better at everything they do and hopes that by reaching their running goals they will be more likely to set big goals in all areas of life.
